Lavasa has tied up with renowned international and national names in the field of education, tourism, hospitality and wellness. Some of the current tie-ups include:

Education

Lavasa has signed a memorandum of understanding with University of Oxford to develop executive education facilities in india. The Centre to be located at University's Saïd Business School in Oxford, will address major business issues through collaborative research between academics in Oxford, India and elsewhere. Alongside research and teaching at Oxford, the centre will develop a range of custom and open executive education programmes which will be delivered in India through a new facility in Lavasa. The MOU was signed for the establishment of the Oxford University India Business Center (OUIBC).

Lavasa has signed an agreement with the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST), UK, to establish a residential school. The GDST is the largest group of independent schools in England and Wales and the UK's largest educational charity. Its school in Lavasa will be a co-educational school for over 1,000 pupils, the majority of whom will also board there. Commencing with grades seven to nine, it will offer students a choice of diplomas including the ICSC (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) and International A Levels. The school also intends to offer the International Baccalaureate in future.


Symbiosis will commence classes on their 60 acre campus by 2009 with a range of management and post graduate programmes.


With intake planned from 2009, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, unarguably one of the world’s best hospitality schools is assisting in the development of a similar campus at Lavasa.


MOU with the Institute of International Business Relations (IBR), the premier business school in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and a part of the University of Berlin. Commencing in 2009, their International Executive MBA will use Lavasa as its base in India. This program takes about 40 students around the world as part of the curriculum, thereby exposing them to different cultures and business models.


An agreement has been signed with NSHM – Knowledge Campus, Kolkata to establish India’s first Retail, Media & Thinking Management University at Lavasa. This University will be set up in association with the Retailers Association of India (RAI). The University is scheduled to commence operations from the academic year 2010.

 
Health & Wellness

Lavasa has entered into a joint venture with Apollo Hospitals to develop a 200 acre Health center offering primary to tertiary medical care, resident specific health care plans, plus long term care and medical educational facilities.

 
Hospitality

A 200 room Novotel, a 258 room Pullman and a 1500 plenary capacity Convention centre by Accor is under construction. These are scheduled to open in 2009-10. In addition a 100 room economy hotel will also open in 2009.

The Fortune Lavasa a business hotel managed by ITC will open in 2008.

A Term Sheet has been signed with M/s Celebration Hotels as investors in Mercure Hotel at Dasve

 
Leisure

An agreement is signed with International Leisure Consultants (ILC) for managing the Dasvino Town and Country Club at Dasve. Click here for details.

A Term Sheet with Z-Bac Adventure Institute Pvt Ltd has been signed for developing an Outdoor Adventure Institute at Lavasa. The first programs are scheduled to start by the end of March 2009.
