Lavasa celebrated Diwali with children from the crèche and 8 Zilla Parishad schools in the project area of the city. A shamiana decorated with Diwali themes was erected at the promenade. Children were brought to the venue in special Lavasa buses.
After a snack of traditional Diwali dishes, various entertainment programs began. Interspersed with interactive fun games were music and dance, a magic show and a puppet show. The children and the teachers alike participated in the activities with enthusiasm.
The celebrations ended with a special lunch. Children were escorted back to their respective places after receiving exciting gifts with compliments from Lavasa. For one and all, it was a day to remember!
