Lavasa has constructed self-sufficient houses for villagers who needed to be rehabilitated, and created Goathans,
which have been provided with school buildings, solar lights, toilets and drainage.
We have also provided creches at labour colonies, which take care of more than 200 children of the labourers, from new born babies
to 12 year olds, while they are at work. The crèche is also equipped with food, education and entertainment facilties.
Lavasa has also been looking at creating employment opportunities and increasing health and education facilities with
better road connectivity.
Also, initiatives like the Mahila Bachat Gat have been conducted at various villages to create a culture of micro credit and savings amongst women in the local community.
