Lavasa Women’s Drive

The Lavasa Women’s drive has been held every year since 2009. It's the drive to go beyond the ordinary that propels us to be what we are. Lavasa Women’s Drive (LWD) celebrates this spirit that resides in every woman, which makes her special. The drive is an ode to every woman who is full of fun, adventure and compassion, the one who relentlessly strives to be inspirational. Supporting the cause of Cancer Prevention though Early Detection, LWD is organized in collaboration with The Times of India. The drive starts from Mumbai & Pune and ends at the scenic hill city of Lavasa. Lavasa Women's Drive salutes the natural strength within every woman that drives her to be extraordinary. The event has become extremely popular since its inception and has become one that women from Mumbai and Pune look forward to eagerly each year.

This year, Lavasa Women's Drive in its 6th year has set a Guinness World RecordsTM for - Most Female Participants in a Motor Sport Event.

To achieve this global recognition 934 participants in 467 cars drove from Mumbai and Pune to picturesque Lavasa on 22nd February 2014. This adds yet another feather to our cap. Lavasa Women’s Drive has also been acknowledged in the Limca Book of Records as the ‘Largest all women car drive in India’ three years in a row.
